You mean like these?
<http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64159>
<http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64216>
In particular, 64159 came of the same sequence of events that Mark
Hansel reported, although I found that a kernel change got the
1.26 tools to work somewhat safely, but that leads to:
<http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=62063>
<http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=54129>
<http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51842>
and others.
I've installed an e2fsprogs-1.27 rpm from the Rawhide area, and
I'm still running the 2.4.18 kernel. This machine doesn't reboot
very often, so the combination doesn't get a whole lot of testing
in my case, but so far it seems OK.
