Right. That is because the ARC was the last one to run the video
card BIOS. Even after you finish the SRM load, you will get the
SRM prompt because it is still set up from the last time the ARC
fuddled with it.
But then the reboot sends a RESET#, the card reverts to its vegetative
state, and the srm cannot run its BIOS to bring it back to life. The
AIT Rage cards are *not* supported by srm. (Been there, now have a VX1.)
