No, but anaconda doesn't seem to have much to do with the graphics system,
although python could be blowing on some probe script. That would make some
sense, because net-, open-, and freeBSD all blow up early on with
documented problems seeing the powerstorm card. Perhaps that card is
provoking an odd failure here, too.

I'm going to try 7.0 first, and if that doesn't work, then I'm going to
swap out the card, and THEN I'm going to drink a bit. That usually helps.
