I guess you missed my "if they kept the changes that I saw in their
pre-production DS20L" remark. Apparently, they didn't, so...(I haven't
seen the pics of the final product yet).

Uh...this wasn't a problem before...the only issue that Tru64 had with
DS20L was that Tru64 didn't recognise the new machine vector that
Compaq wanted their SRM to reflect for the system (read: simple one-line
addition and recompile). There have always been ways to fake it into
running Tru64, though, by setting the machine vector to that of a DP264
(which is what CS20 uses).
