Hello,
I am currently updating SRM-FAQ. The following questions arose:
a)What is the proper SRM-firmware directory with bootp-support. The
current FAQ says
ftp://gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/DEC/Alpha/firmware/v5.8/
which does not exist; only
ftp://gatekeeper.dec.com/pub/DEC/Alpha/firmware/
exists and is empty.
Isn't gatekeeper unmaintained? Or so I've heard.
The most recent firmware for Alpha can be found on
ftp.digital.com//pub/DEC/Alpha/firmware
There's even some archives of somewhat older firmware.
b)Where there ever any releases of API with bootp-enabled firmware and
if so, where can those be found?
I'm sorry to say they where never released. I don't have any of them, I
don't
know of anyone who does.
The proper "homepage" of the API-SRMs is
http://www.alphalinux.org/firmware/api/
correct?
Yes. This is a static archive.
Peter
Thanks
Helge
