Hi all,
I have an old Digital XL 300 box that has a couple of SCSI-2 drives
running off the controller on the motherboard. I'd like to add some
more hard drive space to this box, but it seems SCSI-2 drives have gone
the way of the typewriter and affordable housing. I'd like to add at
least 15 GB, performance is relatively unimportant, and I don't want to
spend a fortune.
Inexpensive IDE drives are easy to find, but is it possible to add an
IDE controller to this box? If so, which ones will work with Linux/AXP?
I'm planning to install RedHat 7.2 on this drive.
Thanks,
-mike
