Two recent cards that come to mind are:
1. 3DLabs Oxygen VX1 - 32MB of memory and much faster than Permedia 2 cards
Use under Tru64 requires either 5.1A or 4.0F-5.1 with a patch.
2. ATI Radeon 7500 - 64MB of memory and capable of 3D under X11 or XFree86
Use under Tru64 requires 5.1B (and for 3D, an Open3D license)
Both the above work nicely with the XFree86 4.1.0 found in RH 7.2 for Alpha,
and stock 4.3.0.
