Hi! did anybody try to install SUSE 8.1 ?
I cant install it by ftp,
so , I've downloaded all files required and copy to local HD (ntfs) as it
is:
hdc
|
Linux
|
boot media.1 suse
|
alpha setup nosrc noarch
|
a lot of rpms files
Installation process successfully started, I choose language, local hdd path
(/Linux), installation continued nicely with X11. Than I partitioned disk,
choosed root, swap, etc (root is about 8GB).
But then I see in software-choosing part: "Error - No proposal"
"Not enought free space for minimal Linux installation". What is it may be?
I'm not beginner in Linux. I see I partitioned disk correctly ( I tried it
with fdisk also)
May anybody help me? May be I make uncorrect file directory strucuture on
my local disk?
What it must be?
regards,
Alexey
