I think, there is a good idea:
One of us (may be you, Mike) make a little bootable ISO (with mandatory kernel, glibc,
gcc, and others) without any X. Then we got it and continue compiling
through personal undependency branches (like GNOME/KDE/etc).
Then we put all rpms built, port RedHat installer and make CDs :-)
