Yer right. Good point.The principle probably still holds - make sure you have the actual ram chips for the data width, including ECC bits. How many that would be I wouldn't be able to tell you without activating some really dusty cores. The last ECC memory I was closely familiar with came 2MB on a 14 inch square board. Rows and rows of 4164s.
