jejejeje, yep of, less diplomatic but same answer :))
ATI is a bad chice to work in Linux enviroment, I probe with ATI driver, glx
and DRI and never work fine, I prefere lost my time eating pizza and not
configuring ATI ;)

I don't know any patch for this, ATI cards are a unknown territory, all
problems with this cards (to much!) I resolved changin it by other
manufacturer, sory!
ATI and Linux. Horrible. It makes me even on i386/x86_64 cry out loud.
Bought a new Core 2 Duo with ATI Sapphire and the rest is... Argh. Don't
talk about it... 'Guess it's not any better with older ATI cards on Alpha.
