RE: SRM keyboard problem



Update: Got the graphical console back to work. Since the srm manual is a bit short here: The trick (obviously) is to remove the keyboard, mouse and - essential ! - also the VGA cable, set "console" to serial (via rs232), power cycle, set "console" back to graphics (via rs232), power off again, connect keyboard, mouse and video, power on, and voila!
I seem to have booted the machine once with either vga or keyboard unplugged.

Hello all,
Thanks for the help! I can indeed access the srm console via serial cable, but it seems odd that the keyboard is dead though "console" is set to "graphics". Doesnt sound to me that this behaviour is according to the manuals.
Still, better than nothing! Thanks again
