It compiles with both Compaq C and GCC-4.0.1... but the CCC build is pretty
buggy...

PS, as far as I know there are no Alpha/AXP ports of Macromedia Flash
player, no x86_64 ports either.

I read thaT Adobe, who bought out macromedia, has "released" the flash
player
to the open source community.  They apparently wanted free help with the
64-bit version. Did they turn loose the source code? Does that mean we might
get an AXP version?

actually, there is a x86_64 port, but, as i said, currently of alpha status.
