Help with 164LX and SRM

[Gordon Campbell <gordon physics queensu ca>]

I'm attempting to update the OS on an old 164LX and cannot get into the 
SRM console to boot the CD. I've tried hammering ctrl-c to no avail. Am 
I missing something? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
