EARS: 0.26 released (fwd)

                           EARS
(something like 'Easy Automatic Recognition of Speech...)
    ---------------------------------------------------------

The EARS package is intended as a limited ready-to-use single word
recognizer for Linux systems. However, its design already aims at
being a host for all kinds of methods used in speech recognition (SR).

"Ralf W. Stephan" <ralf ark franken de> in ears-list:

Version 0.26 is out that fixes some bugs:

- bug in Makefile: some gcc's seem to dislike a naked -I
- worked around a gcc bug in r_dtw.h when compiling with -O
- renamed all instances of Unix Sound System (USS) to Open ... (OSS)
- outcommented two lines in contrib/act.c (Uwe Gellhaus)
- changed documentation: ncurses-1.9.9e is needed

Have fun,
ralf
