When going thru the installation of Linux, you will answer
questions about how to set up lilo. If we are not talking about
booting Linux, why are we using this list? The original question
was in the context of - which of these products work w/Linux.

Many people are using lilo with a setup like yours - but
also booting Linux.
It is not necessary to purchahse software for this
purpose.

PS: I personally use a product - also free - called loadlin, which boots Linux
from DOS.
