Hello,
With all the talk of emacspeak drivers, I decided to put my Accent manual
up on the web in case someone is interested in writing a driver for it.
I'm not a computer programmer, but I'd be more than happy to test a driver
if someone is willing to write it.
The manual lists all the commands the Accent SA responds to and looks like
what one would need in order to write the driver for it. This synth
doesn't support multiple voices, but it does support different tones and
pitch, so perhaps that could be used instead of the different voices that
emacspeak utilizes with the DECTalks.
If anyone is interested you can find the manual at:
http://www.cyberspc.mb.ca/~astrope/accent_manual.txt
It is also linked to from another page where you can read my plea for
help. <G>

Please email me if anyone is interested. It sounds like T. V. Raman has
put a lot of work into this software and it really does sound promising. I
can't wait for the day when I can try it out for myself. In the meantime,
I suppose I will learn how to program in tcl.
Thank you,
Trevor Astrope
