Yes there is.

But it is the only acceptable solution and a pretty poor one. I recently
did review it for c't-magazine here in Germany and it is not the best
and most reliable solution. Due to my investigative efforts the company
has significantly lowerded the price for private use but - that is the
bad news - they took out the command-line-option most suitable for
blinux-users in the cheap version.

Find out more and download a trial-version from www.vividata.com. If you
have access to a SuSE-Linux-Distribution you do not need to download the
test-version. It is included there starting from SuSE 6.0.

Second problem: No Vividata OCR without an Ethernet-card: The license is
bound to the Ethernet-board's unique MAC-address.
