Segfaults happen, when the libraries which were used to compile a package,
are incompatible with those libraries installed.
Get the source package *.src.rpm and do a
'rpm --rebuild <package_name>'.
Your binary package is then recompiled and will shine up at
/usr/src/redhat/i386/RPMS. Now install this package again and it should
run.
