Re: Accessibility issues of GUI interface in Linux



Hi, Toby:

No, I had no problem getting the Emacspeak distribution. I just think it
should be an optional install as Linux is installed by whatever
distribution provides assisted installs, and that it and other appropriate
blindness tools should be part of the distributions. I'm glad to hear that
it is part of Slackware. This is as it should be. What I'm suggesting is
that it would be appropriate for packagers, like Redhat, to directly
support the installation.
