Yes, there are .rpm versions, but since nobody's answered my question
regarding the difference between the noarch file and the src file, this
isn't much help.  From the aforementioned user's guide, I gather that I
have to get the src distribution and compile it myself, which I figured
I'd have to do since each variety of Linux would require a different
compile.
