screen reading from the console.

Hello,
	The subject says it all. I just bought a used machine, that I want to
put linux on. Unfortunately, I'm out of external synths, I need two
things:
first, a software synthesizer that will work with a p133 with 48 mb of
ram, and from the console
secondly, a screen reader to support it.
	Suggestions welcome.
