Thank you all for ending that SETI flame war.

SETI as a general theme is off topic here. 
(A call to set up a SETI user group for Linux users who are blind and 
giving blind specific instructions how to do this would be on topic.)
There exists a dedicated SETI mailing list.

Other themes which are off topic at blinux-list:
- The bible and religions (we first have to agree on a common speech
server for Linux which seems to be a theme difficult enough). 
- The existence of intelligence on earth or elsewhere (IMHO sometimes
pretty doubtful, if one looks at some human habits).
