Hi Jacob: There is a possibility that the redhat source package has
made some changes to the kernel source. The speakup patches are
against the straight linux-2.2.x.tar.gz tar ball as found at
ftp.kernel.org. You might want to try that.

This is one hunk failure, where is the rest of the log? did they all
fail after this point or is this the only failure? If so, it would
probably compile fine unless you're using an alpha box. The 2.3.8
just indicates the version of the tree it came from.
