Emacspeak and ViaVoice

Hi!

I'm trying to get Emacspeak working with IBM ViaVoice Outloud. ViaVoice is installed and working, and as far as I know, Emacspeak is configured right. I start Emacspeak -o, then I get the error message "Process speaker not running". 
can anybody give me some hints?
