Well, I've just doing a little dabbling with IBM's ViaVoice Outloud speech
synthesis server, and come up with a reasonably useful chunk of Linux
command-line code to speak the STDIO pipe.

Feel free to (ab)use and make any suggestions. I'm not the world's
greatest coder, but it works; whipped it off this past weekend.
