Hi,
This is somewhat simple to do, and can be a lot of fun.
Create a file in your home directory called .mailcap
marmaduke:~$ ls .mailcap
.mailcap
marmaduke:~$ cat .mailcap
audio/x-pn-realaudio; raplayer %s
audio/x-wav; splay %s
audio/x-scpls; shoutmp3 %s
marmaduke:~$
Amarmaduke:~$ cat .mime.types
#
#mime types added by Progressive Networks http://www.realaudio.com
#
type=audio/x-pn-realaudio exts=ra,ram
marmaduke:~$
This is using the old raplayer, a similar approach can be used for the
rvplayer. there are sample files in the distribution of rvplayer that you
can use.
