Re: Introduction

Hi, Bill!
Could you please help me a bit with this kickstart file. I read RH6 manual
and seems like I follow all the outlined steps. However, something doesn't
work right. Here is the case.
I am trying to install RH6 on a IBM THinkpad laptop. It has WIndows98
preinstalled, which on drive C with FAT16. It also has logical drive D,
which is empty. Now, under Linux the WIndows98 partition comes as /hda1 and
logical drive under /hda5.
I am attaching a kickstart file that I've created. As soon as I type linux
ks=floppy at boot prompt, RH6 asks me for PCMCIA floppy, I put it into the A
drive and it sort of kicks off. But then, it stops and says that it could
not mount the partition that I specified in ks.cfg file. I though that once
you specify the partition in that file, RH should take care on its own about
creating necessary partitions.
I would appreciate any of your help.

Regards,
Vic
