Re: SV: Searching files through blinux-list?

First: nobody said that you are not allowed to ask for help. Only
limitation was that one has to regard the topics and off topics
when using blinux-list. Blinux lists topic are themes which contain booth
the words Linux _and_ blind.

Second: why should it be a greater 'nightmare' to use a search engine than
a mailing list?Everybody who is able to send a question to and read the
answers from a mailing list will be able to type in a file name into the
input field of a search engine and read what the search engine delivers
after about 10 seconds.

For a good introduction how to find information on the Internet you
can check out http://leb.net/pub/blinux/doc/blinux/howto-find-answers.html
