I don't think it'll work all that well. If Linux is the host system, then you
not only need to be able to adequately deal with X, but VMWare would (which it
might) also need to provide adequate support for the RAP protocol so that an X
client can adequately determine what's in the window. VMWare also needs to be
configured, for the most part, from within an X display. VMWare also allows
WinNT to be the host system, so, if you happen to have a WinNT screen reader,
you may be able to run Linux as a guest system and read its screen that way.
