Hi.

Kind of. But it could be on topic.
Did anyone ever experiemnt a bit with VMWare and screen readers under windows?
I could start the installation of JFW 3.2 bvut got major
troubles while retrieving the license key from disk.
This didnt work.
Anyone ran WinNT on Linux through VMWare with a screen reader
running on top of windows?
If we could get some testing results together, this could be
a major help for all of us blind linux users
who are sometimes forced to use windows for standard
office apps.
Imagine runnin' Office 99 or something in VMWare and switching
back between linux console textmode and WinNT without
rebooting the computer?
Ok, back to the technical side:
VM describes a way how someone can use the same partition
he used for dual booting in windows nt or 95 to boot
a virutal computer. you just have to play around
a bit with the hardware profile but the advantage
of this is that you can use your already licensed partition.
(We all probably know those problems with license keys).
This should be the way to go for someone who wants to use
JFW or something in VMWare. I currently unfortunately
dont have enough (Sighted-people-sparetime) to check this out.
Ill report if it work later.
CYa,
Mario
