more on terminal log in problem.

Hello,
	Thanks to all who have responded to my problem thus far. Let me clarify
a point, I'm not trying to telnet to this machine, I'm using a serial
terminal connected to /dev/ttyS0 I'm sorry I didn't make that more clear.
Again, I'm doing a fresh zipslack installation, and as has been suggested
I have uncommented the name of my ttyS in /etc/sec, the securety file.
However, this has still not solved my problem. In brief, that is, when I
log in from the console as root, everything works, I have not set a root
password, but when I log in from my serial terminal I'm asked for a
password.
