I would have thought you'd get a response from your introduction.

In regard to a Braille display, the first really daunting step in using
one is becoming comfortable with Braille itself.  If that can't be done,
Braille displays won't be worth the money.  Programs like brltty allow
the Braille display keys to emulate keyboard keys and much can be done
from the Braille display without touching the keyboard.  The first step,
though, is liking Braille.
