I have part of a debian system installed and so far, it is
great but there seems to be a bug in dselect at least when run on this
system and I get a segmentation fault when it starts to connect to the
sites. This kind of puts the breaks on downloading the rest of the
system so I am more or less stuck until I can figure out a solution.
Someone on another list suggested using something called apt_get which
they said is a little easier to manage than dselect. At this point, I
am sure ready to try anything. Right now, I can log in, and use ftp
as well as initiate telnet sessions. I have an excellent network
connection through OSU so this should really scream when I can
actually start swigging down software from the debian sites.
