Reading the manual page for screader will help to learn how to handle
screader. Another problem of all these screen readers using the
'freespeech' preprocessor and mbrola software synth: freespeech couldn't
digest all ascii input and did die relatively often in the middle of the
text.
Mbrdico preprocessor and mbrola seems to be much more stable.
