Hello all.
It is possible to use emacspeak and speakup on the same system with
the same syhnthesizer. You just use two versions of the kernel one
with speakup built into it, and one without. I have three choices
when booting my system. If I plan to use dos, I type dos at the boot
prompt. If I want to use emacspeak on the system, I type linux, which
loads a kernel without speakup. If I want to use speakup, i type
linuxsp, which then loads the kernel with speakup built into it.
Since bouth kernels are the same version, everything works out just
great. No problems at all.
However, Jacob is correct in that you can't use the speakup kernel and
emacspeak with the same synth at the same time.
