You said you're using Debian? Icecast comes in two packages, the
server and the client (or feeder). You should install
"icecast-client", I _THINK_ it'll let you do what you want.

Hm, what mp3 player are you using? Ever considered feeding your mp3
player via STDIN? It would let you play songs one after the other
without having to worry about what's going on...
