Slackware serial console install terminal parms?

Is there a command line version of the Slackware installation program, 
'setup'?

I'm trying to do a serial console install of Slack 8.0 but I can't seem to 
get the emulation right. It munges the output. It keeps scrolling up a line 
as I tab through the options on the screens.

I had the same roblem in cfdisk but I just used fdisk instead.
