Hi,

Rather than focusing your efforts on a screen reader specific to Linux,why not make it more portable? It would be really, really nice to havea screen reader that runs under BSD for example. In many ways, I findFreeBSD more useful than Linux, especially for servers. I have moreLinux experience, but I noticed that FreeBSD seems faster on olderhardware than Linux 2.4.x. This is just a thought. I know there areother screen readers out there but I never got them working other thanSpeakup and my understanding is that it would be impossible to get aLinux screen reader to work under FreeBSD because of the kernel differences.
