what happened to Joe's site ?

i have some questions :-)

are there changes /* except the -mm revision */ in the
patches since 2.6.5-udm2 ?

with other words, should i update, or i can stay 
with 2.6.6rc1 + -mm5 dm/* and some other */ patches + udm2 patches 10+ +
evms patches

anyone had troubles with lvm2 over md recently ?
i'm getting segfaults in md_major when i run lvm2 vgscan
and there seem to be some devfs/ dmsetup issues

i'll probably want be able to debug it until next week, but asking
doesn't heart

i didn't try vanilla kernel

i'm getting lvm2 segfault in md_major,
plus 
Apr 15 14:00:54 svetljo kernel: devfs_mk_dir: invalid argument.
Apr 15 14:01:36 svetljo kernel: devfs_mk_dir: invalid
argument.<4>devfs_mk_dev: could not append to parent for /disc

tried enabling CONFIG_DEVFS_DEBUG, nothing new

devfs creates syminks to /dev/ named /dev/discs/disc4, ...disk5, ....disk100
and on second run it takes ages while lvm2 scans them for devices


disabling scanning of md* devices fixes the segfault, and lvm seems to work
for non md devices

also tried rebuilding device-mapper against running kernel , didn't help
much
