[dm-devel] dm vs. md status?

I read dm-raid45 is still considered alpha, so testers are welcome,
but using for anything but test machines is not recommended?

What is the status of dm-raid? can it be used instead of md (for
raid0 and raid1)? any advantages or disatvantages over md?
