Qt tools - no KDE support?

It seems to me that the QT tools shipped with Enigma, designer and uic in
particular, were built without support for KDE widgets. If I try to compile a
KDE app built with Kdevelop/QtDesigner I get compile errors because there
missing header file includes for the KDE widgets. If I load a .ui dialog spec
file with Designer the KDE widgets are not displayed. I downloaded the Qt
2.3.1 source and compiled with the -kde option and the problem went away.
Both the webconfig and KRSS programs available from http://apps.kde.com
reveal this problem.
There is nothing in Bugzilla on this, so if someone else can confirm the
problem I will open a report. Starting designer and looking for a KDE item
under the Tools menu should be sufficient.
TIA
-Robin.
