Epson Stylus C80 and RH's printconf-gui

Hi all,
I'm trying to set up an Epson Stylus C80 as a local printer on USB.  This printer is not even mentioned in the list on the printconf tool despite it being one of the "suggested" printers on the linuxprinting.org website. That site also suggests that using the "gimp-print" packages which provide Ghostscript with STP support is the way to go: http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/gs_stp.html
Does anyone have any comments upon this as a useful route, also why does RH fail to include the EpsonStylus C80 in printconf?
