Oops, cockpit error. I was in the wrong directory! The output
of 'error' is:

 Lpdomatic backend version $Revision: 1.2 $ running...
 /usr/sbin/lpdomatic: called with arguments:
'--lprng','stc600ih.upp-26016.foo'
 /usr/sbin/lpdomatic: af=stc600ih.upp-26016.foo
 /usr/sbin/lpdomatic: options: ''
 prepending: <</PageSize[612 792]/ImagingBBox null>>setpagedevice
 /usr/sbin/lpdomatic: running: gs @stc600pl.upp -q -dBATCH -dSAFER
-dQUIET -dNOPAUSE -sOutputFile=- -
 /usr/sbin/lpdomatic: postscript job line1=>%!PS-Adobe-2.0
 <
 /usr/sbin/lpdomatic: prepended:
 <</PageSize[612 792]/ImagingBBox null>>setpagedevice
 gs PID pid2=1178
foomatic-gswrapper: gs '@stc600pl.upp' '-dBATCH' '-dSAFER' '-dQUIET'
'-dNOPAUSE' '-sOutputFile=|cat >&3' '-' 3>&1 1>&2

'cat output > /dev/lp0' does indeed produce the Red Hat
PostScript test page. Sorry 'bout that.

Seems that in this mode at least, the sw is generating the
correct output, it's just not getting it to the printer. Or?
