A point of info... The first partition on /dev/hdd is swap. The 2nd partition is
linux ext3 and contains the / filesystem. The /boot and /home filesystems are on
the frist and second partitions respectively of /dev/hdb. /dev/dha is all Win98
(FAT16).
I'll try your suggestion and let you know how it goes.
