I've upgraded a number of my boxes from 6.2 to 7.2 with no problems.
However, the upgrade from Postgres 6.x to 7.x is not transparent;
you have to dump the database and reload it, and I've got some
customer apps written in Python using the old 'pgsqldb' module,
and I need to test that they correctly work with the DBI-API 2.0
'pgdb' module. It's not really hard or impossible stuff, it's just
that it's not entirely transparent for these cases and I haven't
had time to work on them.
