Thanks for your time.
SuSE linux's system logs are messages-011231.gz etc. The current date
file is messages and messages-020102.gz.
They are automatically created not manually compressed.
While RH7.2 system logs are messages.1, messages.2 , messages.3.\
I want the system logs to be like SuSE. This is not meant that SuSE is
better than RH.
How can I do this?
