Hi,
In most (all?) emails I receive from this list I find the following (or
eq.) line in the mail headers:
Received: from lacrosse.corp.redhat.com
(IDENT:root lacrosse corp redhat com [172.16.44.154] (may be forged)) by
int-mx1.corp.redhat.com (8.11.6/8.11.6) with ESMTP id g02A5FE02794 for
<enigma-list listman redhat com>; Wed, 2 Jan 2002 05:05:15 -0500
What disturbs me is the statement "(may be forged)". This also disturbs
my spamassassin spam detecting software.
Could anyone explain to me what this statement actually means and why
it's there?
Best regards
Gustav
