 The Netscape version is actually saving information that IE appears
to be losing.  The alt= attributes from images (which are intended to
provide something for a text-only environment) are being dropped, but
Netscape is saving them.  I would consider that more correct behaviour
although I can see what you're trying to do.

 If you want just the visible text from the screen, cut & paste.

 A more useful suggestion might be to use lynx (text mode browser)
instead, it has an option "-dump" to save formatted output.
