To qoute that page:
It seems there is a bug either in GCC 3.0.2 or our Win32 loader code.
Probably both :) If MPlayer is compiled with GCC 3.0.2 and a Windows
Media Video 8 (WMV2) video is played, it will end with this segfault :
MPlayer interrupted by signal 11 in module: decode_video
Either wait us to find and fix the bug (but if it's gcc's bug it's gonna
be a loong wait:), or downgrade to 2.95 (recommended), or something.
UPDATE: GCC 3.0.3 (confirmed on RedHat 7.2) is affected too.
